"I am three," says Venice Bektas with a wide smile.
Proud mom Ruffa Gutierrez says in an interview, "Dati ang liit niya. Five pounds lang siya nung ipinanganak ko siya. Parang mouse. Ngayon ang laki na niya."
At 4:05 p.m., Ruffa Gutierrez arrives with her two adorable daughters—Venice (left), the birthday girl, and Lorin (right) who turned four last August 3. The gorgeous mommy dons a Charina Sarte dress, while the cute little ladies wear dresses from the House of Laurel.
The birthday girl receives a kiss and a bear hug from her beautiful lola, Annabelle Rama.
Ruffa's mom was the first to arrive at the venue. At the latter part of the party, the event organizer of T.G.I.Friday's was seen handing over the bill to Annabelle—did she shoulder the food and beverage expenses amounting to P44,000+?
That's Eddie Gutierrez hugging his son (with Pilita Corrales) Ramon Christopher. Guests shared the same obversation about Monching, "ang payat niya ngayon, ah!"
Mylene Dizon and Tomas, her son with Paolo Paraiso. The sexy momma is very competitive! During the parlor games, she is seen coaching and cheering for Tomas. She also makes sure her son wins a prize.
Ruffa readily leaves her table and ushers her kids to the front. Beside Ruffa are Jaye Bautista (second from left) and Thates Gana (second from right) with their respective kids. The former used to work for Ruffa, while the latter is the long-time partner of Quezon City Vice-Mayor Herbert Bautista.
"Hey, the pink balloon's mine," says Venice to her Ate Lorin.
The yaya asks the older sister to "share and just give the balloon" since it's Venice's birthday.
Lorin must have taken yaya's advice seriously because in one of the parlor games where Lorin won a lot of coins, she shared two of what she has to her younger sister.
That's Entertainment alumnae—(from left to right) Ana Roces, Almira Muhlach, Ruffa Gutierrez—are just as fabulous as they were during their younger days.
