The stars all arrived despite the heavy rains that coincided with the 30th Gawad Urian by the Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino last September 13 held at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater, Ateneo de Manila University, Q.C.
This year's Urian was dominated by independent films: Kaleldo, Todo Todo Teros, Huling Balyan ng Buhi, Rotonda, and Kubrador.
And, of course, the night turned fabulous with the stars who were dressed to the hilt. The ladies were a sumptuous eyeful in their gowns of different colors, cuts, styles, and lengths; men, however, conformed to the usual black coat and tie ensemble.
