GMA-7's Redgie Magno-Acuña, the lady behind most primetime shows of the Kapuso network, enjoys her birthday in a night of singing and merrymaking with her close friends in the industry.

Regal musician.To kick off the party, Regal Entertainment's Lily Monteverde hit the drums and keyboards. Mother Lily played a lively beat of "Bahay Kubo," also the title of one of her recent Metro Manila Film Fest movies, and another children's rhyme, "Leron-Leron Sinta.''
Early birds. With Redgie Magno-Acuña (2nd from right) as the party was warming up were: talent manager Douglas Quijano, Eat Bulaga's lady boss Malou Choa-Fagar, and young actor Tyrone Perez.
Bodie Cruz, who became known for his stints in the ABS-CBN shows, Ang TV, and recently on the second season of Pinoy Big Brother, sang a slow ballad, "How Deep is Your Love" for the Birthday Lady.
His parents Tirso Cruz III and Lynn Ynchausti also came to enjoy the party.
Masama ang tumanggi, was the rule that night, so whenever one was called to sing, he/she had to take the mic.
Tirso Cruz III and Ricky Davao goaded Senator Jinggoy Estrada to sing, and the newly-minted Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actor did not disappoint the partygoers with his upbeat rendition of "Killing Me Softly" and "Memories."
Redgie Magno-Acuña stands between former warring stars, Jinggoy Estrada and Richard Gomez. The two big actors had a spat over an incident that occurred in one of the Star Olympics several years ago. But, obviously, the war is over!
Richard Gomez and Joey Marquez tried to sing Hagibis's "Katawan," the theme song of their defunct sitcom in ABS-CBN, Palibhasa Lalake. They didn't know the entire lyrics, so they just hummed and then sang only the refrain, to the delight of everyone.

Kempee de Leon came from a live telecast of the reality-comedy show Kung Ako Ikaw. He readily obliged the guests who asked him to sing as soon as he arrived, with his own melodic rendition of VST & Company's "Ipagpatawad Mo" and Bread's "If."

The people just couldn't let Ms. Wilma Galvante, GMA-7's senior vice president for entertainment, leave without singing. She got hold of a lyrics sheet and proved to a be a crooner when she sang "The Nearness of You" and Henry Mancini's "Two for the Road."
Marco Alcaraz, Ehra Madrigal, Paolo Paraiso, and Jeremy Marquez took over the mic and sang "Buttercup"and a couple of 70's songs. They successfully jolted the handful of people at the party's tail end, then left at around 1:30 in the morning.
