Cherry Pie Picache reprises her role as Luzviminda Dimagiba, the mother of her gay sons (from left) Orwell, Orson, and Oscar. The veteran actress says of her role, "I had a speech defect in Manay Po 1 but now, magaling na ang speech defect ko. That was exciting for me since now, I don't have a difficult time talking. Doing Manay Po 2 is a breather for me because most of the films that I have been doing are serious and dramatic films. Ngayon, fun fun lang."

Polo Ravales (far left) narrates the changes in the sequel of Manay Po. Dito sa part two, open na ako [as Oscar] pero hindi ako as loud na gay as John [Prats, second from right].
"The big difference talaga dito, mas comfortable kami ngayon with our roles. Saka iba ang samahan namin during the shoot, nag-gel kami lahat sa part one tapos ngayon, haluan mo pa ng Rufa Mae [Quinto, second from left], riot na!"

John Prats (second from right) reveals that he almost didn't accept the role of the gay Orson in Manay Po 2. "Honestly, nung inoffer sa akin yung project na Manay Po 2, medyo hesitant ako to accept kasi it's another gay movie na naman. But when Direk Joel [Lamangan] called me up, sabi niya, 'John read the script.'

The Dimagiba siblings all have a tendency to become effeminate. Jiro Manio (right) plays the youngest son named Orwell.

Rufa Mae Quinto causes friction between the gay couple played by Polo Ravales and Sid Lucero. As Bette the babymaker, she catches the attention of Oscar (Polo), thus incurring the jealousy of Adrianne (Sid). Adrianne and Oscar want to raise a child of their own and Bette becomes the baby maker for the gay couple.

Cherry Pie Picache says about her co-stars, "Si Jiro [Manio], mahusay na bata. Si John, yung out. Tulungan kami."
