Roxanne Guinoo topbills the newest daytime teleserye of ABS-CBN titled Ligaw na Bulaklak. This TV series tackles the world of horse-racing and will air its pilot episode on May 26 after Wowowee.

Roxanne Guinoo, who was last seen in the action seris Palos, plays the role of Lea Alegro. As a young girl, she is sold by her family to serve as a maid to a horse stable. She becomes a resident of of Women's Town where she develops her skill as a "horse whisperer."
Ligaw na Bulaklak, directed by Andoy Ranay, replaces Kristine Hermosa's Prinsesa ng Banyera. The cast members sometimes use the Sta. Ana Racetrack as one of the locations for this TV series.
The theme song "Buong Buhay Ko" is performed by Sam Milby.
Sid Lucero is one of the three leading men of Roxanne for Ligaw na Bulaklak. The female actress is also paired with Ron Morales of Be Bench fame and Marc Abaya, the vocalist of the band Kjwan.
Regarding his leading lady, Sid says, "She's very beautiful, masipag, it's easy to fall in love with someone like Roxanne."
Coco Martin (left) plays Ronel while Ara Mina is cast as Janet, the kontrabida who will do anything for the man that she loves. Roxanne and Coco plays siblings in the story but they were separated when they were growing up.
Roxanne Guinoo's character Lea leads a very difficult life. She has promised to herself that she will be reunited with her family. As a "whisperer" to a champion horse, will Lea be able to change her fortune?
Ligaw na Bulaklak is Ara Mina's follow-up project after being part of Prinsesa ng Banyera. Her immense love for a guy pushes her to do unimaginable things.
Billy (Sid) is the childhood friend of Lea who defends her as they are growing up. Now playing a resident of the Boys' Town in Marikina City, Sid recalls that he was able to visit this town during an outreach program in high school.
Ron Morales bagged the 1st runner-up place in the Be Bench Model Search. He now plays Ian, the heartthrob of the dorm where he and Billy are staying. He has a secret crush on Lea (Roxanne).
Kjwan vocalist Marc Abaya (left) and Sid Lucero (right) play the two men who are both attracted to Lea. Marc plays Francis, a well-educated man who is attracted to the street-smart Lea.
Roxanne calls the former as Kuya Marc and describes him as someone with a deep (malalim) personality. She says Sid is very "makulit" and is easy to get along with.
Manila vice-mayor Isko Moreno makes a showbiz comeback as Mon, the father of Lea. He develops a forbidden romance with Jodi Sta. Maria and the fruit of their passion is the love child Lea.
Coco Martin makes his Kapamilya debut as Ronel, Lea's brother. He is a member of the all-male group The Studs and has appeared in Daisy Siete Season 15.
His filmography includes critically acclaimed indie films such as Tirador, Serbis, Daybreak, and Masahista.
Jaymee Joaquin plays the best friend of Roxanne who is a frustrated radio reporter. The host of Games Uplate says that this TV series will allow her to reach the daytime audience since she is often seen only during the wee hours of the morning.
Chokoleit says that he plays a straight character named Aljon who is the sidekick of Billy (Sid Lucero). The comedian is cast as the announcer for horse races in the reacetrack.
Arlene Muhlach and Smokey Manoloto play the foster parents of Lea. They serve as her conscience and try to steer her towards the right path. Arlene plays Tina the lady guard while Smokey's character is named Monching.
Dominic Ochoa is back in ABS-CBN after hosting ABC-5's Shall We Dance. He plays the mayor of Makati City and has jurisdiction over the Sta. Ana Racetrack.

The VIP lounge of the Sta. Ana Racetrack was the setting of the grand press conference for Ligaw na Bulaklak. After the event, the stars were left behind to shoot some scenes at the racetrack.
