Velvet's Tribute to the Oscars Photo Exhibit Year 2
In time for Hollywood's most anticipated Academy Awards, Velvet paid tribute to Oscar-winning movies by mounting a photo exhibit of local celebrities at the Ayala Museum in Makati City last Thursday, March 4.

Celebrity couple Billy Crawford and Nikki Gil said it was their first time to see the product of their photo shoot, where they portrayed Tony and Maria of the West Side Story, a 1950's musical that won 10 Oscar awards, including Best Picture and Best Director in 1961.
Shaina Magdayao and Jericho Rosales posed like Hollywood actors Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty, who played the lead roles inthe classic American crime movie Bonnie & Clyde (1967), which brought home Oscar trophies for Best Supporting Actress and Best Cinematography.
This photo was given a Silver award during Velvet's awards night.
Tanging Yaman screen partners Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee were hailed as "the perfect pair" for this photo.
Erich as Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winslet) and Enchong as Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio) of the box-office hit Titanic, which received a total of 11 Oscars in 1998.
Sandwich's front man Raimund Marasigan posed as Aragorn, while Melissa Ricks portrayed Arwen for Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
