The schedules of Star Magic talents were cleared last Sunday morning, March 14, so they could attend the 1st Star Magic Run. The running event was held at The Venice Piazza in Taguig City in order to empower the youth and encourage them to fight for clean elections.

Around 100 Star Magic talents gathered for a pictorial before the start of the run. Even though Gretchen Barretto is not a Star Magic talent, she lent her support for this ABS-CBN project.
Child star Zaijian Jaranilla (center) took time out to grace the special occassion that was organized by Keren Pascual (not in photo). Incidentally, it was Keren's birthday on March 13, a day before the event.

Mr. Johnny Manahan goofed around with his "alagas." When everybody had left the finish line, he backtracked and acted as if he was the first runner to complete the course.
Gretchen Barretto said in an interview that she would never be the cause of problems between Derek Ramsay and Angelica Panganiban. Gretchen will work with Derek and Bea Alonzo in an upcoming teleserye.
Piolo Pascual said that he tried his best to be the fastest in the 5K category but with his time of 25 minutes, he only landed in 4th Place. He revealed that he is currently training for the Ironman Philippines in August. CLICK HERE to learn more.

Beatriz Saw (left) landed 2nd Place in the 3K category but she was unable to accept her trophy during the awarding ceremony. Bea, the Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother Season 2, was able to complete the 3K course in just 22 minutes and 43 seconds.

Star Magic hunks played Hep Hep Hooray with Wowowee host Pokwang that morning. These include (ftom left, top frame) Rafael Rosell, Victor Basa, Jon Avila and Zanjoe Marudo.

Gee-Ann Abrahan (left) landed third place in the 3K while Heidi Riego (middle) won first place. Beatriz Saw was the second placer but Nikki Valdez (right) accepted the trophy in her behalf.
Maricar Reyes (middle) won first place for her official time of 35 minutes and 5 seconds. She was followed by Gem Ramos (right) and Cheska Ortega (left).
The winners of the 5K male celebrity category were (from left) Carlos Agassi, Enchong Dee and Nico Antonio. Gigger Boy Enchong was able to run the entire course in only 21 minutes and 44 seconds.
