Celebrities started arriving at around 6 p.m. that night while the program ended shortly before midnight.

KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual (not in photo) were chosen as Couple of the Night. The female Kapamilya star said this French military inspired gown was created by Joey Samson. "Sinuot ko yung favorite color niya [Piolo]," said KC about her navy blue gown.

Gretchen Barretto wore her Ivarluski Aseron gown with no jewelry but she had jewels on her feet courtesy of her shoes from Giuseppe Zanotti. Click HERE to read related article. 

Claudine Barretto and her husband Raymart Santiago entered the red carpet area shortly after the arrival of Gretchen Barretto. When the press asked Clau to confirm if she will be working with her sister in a teleserye, she said that they are still discussing the details of the project.

Bea Alonzo looked stunning in her Francis Libiran gown. During the program, she was named as the Most Fabulous Celebrity that night. 

John Lloyd Cruz had no date that night but he did walk on the red carpet with Cathy Garcia-Molina. The female director was behind the blockbuster hits A Very Special Love and You Changed My Life, starring JLC and Sarah Geronimo (not in photo).

Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu were named as one of the Couples of the Night (aside from KC and Piolo). 

Anne Curtis and Sam Milby arrived at the formal event together, fueling speculations that they had gotten back together. But the two denied this. Anne (who was wearing a creation of Michael Cinco) was crowned as the Most Glamourous Celebrity that night.

Luis Manzano wore a Hugo Boss suit and he was styled by Erik Benito. He said that he invited Angel Locsin to be his date that night but she had a previous engagement.

Maricar Reyes attended a Star Magic Ball for the first time. When she was asked regarding the sex-video scandal with Hayden Kho, she merely said, "I will answer these questions in a more appropriate time." 

Kristine Hermosa and Oyo Sotto were among the last to arrive at the venue. They held hands as they walked on the red carpet where photographers patiently waited for them. 

When PEP asked the two if they were a couple already, Kristine and Oyo said that they are just friends. The young man declared that he is willing to wait for Kristine to be ready to commit once again in a relationship. 

Jericho Rosales had a photo opp with his former flame Kristine Hermosa. The two are paired together in the ABS-CBN soap opera Dahil May Isang Ikaw. 

Tayong Dalawa co-stars Jodi Sta. Maria and Jake Cuenca attended the event together. Jodi wanted to change her look but she didn't want to get a haircut so she wore a wig instead. Jodi wore an Edward Teng creation while Jake wore a suit by Randy Ortiz.

Billy Crawford (leftmost) and Nikki Gil (second from left) were chosen as the Classic Chic Pair that night. Shaina Magdayao and John Prats hardly left each other's side that night. These two couples are ASAP mainstays, meaning they work with each other every Sunday.

Angelica Panganiban and Derek Ramsey took this opportunity to bond with each other since they are both busy with their respective careers. Angelica will star in the Philippine version of the Mexican telenovela Rubi while Derek is currently part of Precious Hearts Romances presents Ang Lalaking Nagmahal sa Akin (where he is paired with Toni Gonzaga, not in photo). 

Pops Fernandez's outfit that night was designed by Ivarluski Aseron. She spent most of the night sharing a table with Gretchen Barretto. 

Martin Nievera said that he simply grabbed this Zara suit from his closet. When PEP asked him regarding the billing for his upcoming concert with Gary Valenciano, he quiped, "I have absolutely no problem with the billing...as long as my name goes first." 

Rica Peralejo revealed to the press that her wedding to her fiance Joseph Bonifacio will take place in a beach. They have yet to choose a wedding date between December 2009 and January 2010.

Mariel Rodriguez and Zanjoe Marudo were chosen as the Classic Chic Couple of the Night. They vehemently denied rumors that they had already broken up. 

John Estrada and his fiancee Priscilla Meirelles are already planning for their 2011 wedding. But they have yet to decide if they will conduct the ceremony here in the Philippines or in the hometown of Priscilla in Brazil.

Melissa Ricks and Matt Evans have been attending the Star Magic Ball together for the past three years. 

Siblings Raymond and Ruffa Gutierrez graced the occassion wearing creations by Randy Ortiz and Ivarluski Aseron, respectively.

Meryll Soriano and Joem Bascon were co-stars in the now defunct teleserye I Love You Betty La Fea. After this formal pose, Meryll did a wacky pose with her date that night. 

Maja Salvador and her partner Rayver Cruz (not in photo) were chosen as the Best Dressed Couple that night.

Vina Morales says that after giving birth to her daughter Ceana last April 25, she engaged in simple exercise and dieting to regain her sexy figure. The former ASAP mainstay wore a gown by Francis Libiran that night.

The Gigger Boys posed as a group on the red carpet. They are (from left) AJ Perez, Dino Imperial, Chris Gutierrez, Robi Domingo, Sam Concepcion, Ahron Villaflor and Enchong Dee.

Chokoleit (shown here wearing an M Barretto creation) lugged around a standee of Pokwang as his "date." PEP even spotted some celebrities taking photos of themselves with the standee. 

RR Enriquez dazzled everyone with this daring number from Francis Libiran.

Yeng Constatino was given a Fashion Forward Award for "being willing to take a risk by being edgy but not scary."

Diether Ocampo went around the Rizal Ballroom to introduce his girlfriend Rima Ostwani. 

Photographers teased Kitkat and Empoy to kiss as they walked together on the red carpet. The two came dangerously close to doing it but they resisted the urge!

Andi Eigenmann said that her mother, Jaclyn Jose, did not see her when she wore this daring gown for the Star Magic Ball. However, her mother did see the design beforehand.

Indie actor Coco Martin has successfully crossed over to mainstream through ABS-CBN teleseryes such as Tayong Dalawa and the now defunct show Nasaan Ka Maruja?

Rafael Rosell brought 2004 FHM Girlfriend of the Year Aze Sasaki as his date that night. When PEP asked if Rafael is courting the female model, he said they are just friends.  

Agot Isidro graced the formal event with her husband Manu Sandejas.

Roxanne Guinoo's gown by Jerome Llorico matched the classical Greek theme that night.

Erich Gonzales is the lead actress in the ABS-CBN remake of Katorse.

Among the guests that night were Mother Lily Monteverde of Regal Entertainment and her daughter Roselle Monteverdeo-Teo. They attended the event together with talent manager Arnold Vegafria.
