Maging ang aktres na si Bianca King ay na-impress sa trailer ng pinagbibidahang GMA-7 afternoon drama series na Sinner or Saint.

Sa press conference na ginanap kagabi, June 7, sa Kamayan restaurant sa West Avenue, Quezon City, ipinakita ang ilang eksena ng nasabing serye na kinabibilangan din nina Dennis Trillo, Alessandra de Rossi, Polo Ravales, Matthew Mendoza, Timmy Cruz, Divina Valencia, Jenine Desiderio, Dexter Doria, Kim Komatsu, at Derrick Monasterio.

"Even the script alone makes me cry, it moves me. Seeing the actual outcome now, parang ang bigat!" bungad ni Bianca sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) nang hingin namin ang kanyang reaksiyon matapos mapanood ang trailer.

Seryoso at nalilinya sa heavy drama ang Sinner or Saint dahil tinatalakay nito kung paano binago ng isang binaliktad na krimen ang kapalaran ng dalawang tao na sa umpisa ay nangangarap ng magandang buhay para sa kanilang kinabukasan.

Kapansin-pansin ang pagtalakay ng mga paksang karaniwang nangyayari sa totoong buhay, katulad ng kahirapan, hindi patas na hustisya, at pagsasantabi ng prinsipyo kapalit ng maginhawang buhay.

"If you will compare our show with, let's say Nita Negrita, which is the show na papalitan namin, Nita Negrita centers on the story of a young girl. So it's really lighter and tween yung stars.

"Kami, we're all very mature actors, we're all in our 20s.

"Sobrang heavy yung story and it's very intense—the drama is intense and even the love between the two main characters is very intense," paliwanag ni Bianca.

TOTALLY UNEXPECTED. Kay Iza Calzado unang inalok ang lead role para sa Sinner or Saint, na noong umpisa ay may working title na Sentensyada, subalit tinanggihan niya ito dulot ng mabigat na workload ng aktres. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)

Hindi naman apektado si Bianca kahit pa sabihin ng iba na "second choice" lamang siya para sa drama project na isinulat at nilikha ni RJ Nuevas.

"Iza is one of my dearest friends in showbiz.

"Before I even announced it to my other friends, kaming dalawa muna yung nag-usap.

"I was asking her what happened. And feeling nga namin, between the two of us as good friends, we sort of feel like it's a victory for us.

"Kasi it makes it even sweeter for me that something my dear friend felt na maybe wasn't the right project for her at this point, all of sudden went to me.

"So, it's like through my friend, I was able to get this [project]," paliwanag ni Bianca.
