Paolo Ballesteros will once again appear on TV in his newest role in GMA-7's Dyesebel, but it seems Paolo has to fish out an explanation after Showbiz Central got a call from a source saying that a girl in the United States was carrying Paolo's child.

People may remember that a few months ago, Paolo went to the U.S. to visit his ailing father. According to the source, Paolo met the girl, and to make the long story short, impregnated the girl.

Showbiz Central immediately asked Paolo if the news was true. Paolo only confirmed that he was with a special girl while he was staying in New York.

"Iba yung iniisip nila kasi yung ex-girlfriend ko, doon siya nakatira sa Chicago," Paolo explained. "Nung nagbakasyon ako at binisita ko si Papa, e, pumunta din siya ng New York kasi matagal na kaming hindi nagkikita. Filipina siya at ka-schoolmate ko siya before."

Paolo refused to give out the name of that ex-girlfriend though he openly shared that he and the ex maintained constant communication even before he went to the U.S. Mysteriously, Paolo neither confirmed nor denied the "pregnant issue" that the source disclosed. Aside from that, he also debunked speculations that he was using the issue to cover up rumors concerning his sexuality.

"Hindi ko alam," Paolo shrugged. "Hindi naman issue ‘yan, eh. Hindi ko ginagawang advantage yun o disadvantage. Basta kung ano lang ginagawa ko, e, trabaho lang."

When asked by Showbiz Central if there was any truth to the preggy issue, he jokingly answered, "Abangan ninyo sa November kung totoo!"
