Last Sunday, January 3, during the live presentation of ABS-CBN's musical-variety show ASAP, the camera was able to capture Erich Gonzales's cold treatment to Ejay Falcon on their song number with Enchong Dee. 

The viewers immediately linked this to the incident where Erich became very emotional during her solo press conference for the upcoming early primetime teleserye Tanging Yaman last December 30. The young actress got teary-eyed as she recalled the past issue she had with Ejay, who reportedly told her that she wouldn't be famous without him. (CLICK HERE to read related article.) 

Erich, Ejay, and Enchong are co-stars in the early primetime series Katorse, which will end on January 8. The show will immediately be replaced by Tanging Yaman, another teleserye co-starring the three young stars along with Melissa Ricks and Matt Evans.

At the grand press conference of Tanging Yaman last night, January 4, Erich was asked about the incident on ASAP. The young actress was tight-lipped about it and pleaded, "Sana makalimutan na natin yun."

Erich explained, "Ayaw ko na po talagang mag-comment tungkol sa isyu na 'yan. Basta po ayaw ko nang magsalita anything about him. I just wanna move on at gusto ko lang po talaga makapagtrabaho nang maayos. Kung anuman po ang isyu na 'yon, from now on po kakalimutan ko na 'yon and sana ma-settle namin, sa aming dalawa.

"Sa totoo lang, matagal na po ang isyu na 'yon, nagsisimula pa lang po ang Katorse. Naungkat lang po 'yon noong presscon. Pero ako po talaga, ayaw ko na po pag-usapan 'yon."

PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press wanted to get Ejay's side on the issue, but the young actor failed to attend the presscon of Tanging Yaman. Ejay was reportedly taping for Katorse that time.

WORKING WITH EJAY. Despite their "silent war," Erich says she continues to maintain a professional relationship with Ejay, especially now that they are working again in Tanging Yaman. 

The Star Circle Quest Season 2 Grand Questor said, "Ako po, kagaya po ng sinasabi ko, basta po pagdating sa trabaho, kung anuman po ang sinasabi sa eksena at sinasabi ng director, 'yon po ang gagawin ko. Wala nang tanong-tanong ng, 'Bakit ganyan?' 

"Kailangan lang din po talagang maging professional. Kung anuman ang nararamdaman mo sa isang tao, 'yong personal na thoughts mo sa kanya, kailangan talaga yun i-set aside para maging maganda ang kalabasan ng eksena."

Is it not hard to work with someone you're not comfortable working with?

"Basta po kapag nandoon na ako sa eksena, nandoon na ako sa set, kinakalimutan ko po na ako si Erich, ako po 'yong role," Erich replied.

The 19-year-old actress also mentioned that she's open to talking about this issue privately with Ejay. 

"Basta po kung may mga gusto man kaming sabihin sa isa't isa, sasabihin na lang namin nang personal, hindi sa harap ng camera or sa harap ng maraming tao. Sa aming dalawa na lang po 'yon."

PEP will still be open to Ejay's side regarding this issue.
