Derek Ramsay denies having a closed-door meeting with TV5

Derek Ramsay on talks that he had a closed-door meeting with TV5 execs to discuss his transfer to the Kapatid network: "I can't entertain nor make any decision until my contract has expired. I will give that much to ABS-CBN and I'm gonna be professional that way. My dad will be the first one to be upset with me if I did anything otherwise. Yeah, I have to be professional. It is a business and at the end of my contract that's when I will make my decision.

"Actually, to tell you the truth, I started loving my craft while shooting No Other Woman and Private Benjamin. I can do this for a long time.

"I wanna test myself more with movies."

"Siguro more movies. I wanna... with whomever. Hindi ako namimili ng katrabaho. Hindi ako namimili kung sino, ano ko."

SECOND CHOICE? May next movie project na ba siya?

"Star Cinema is offering me a movie with Bea [Alonzo]. I think this is the movie that was originally for Sam [Milby].

"But I think Sam wants to do other things.

"Ano'ng feeling na ikaw lang yung second choice? Okay lang," ang sabi ni Derek.

Tungkol saan ang pelikula nila ni Bea?

"I'm meeting with Star Cinema on the 27th. They're gonna pitch the movie to me.

"I'd love to work with Bea. Nakatrabaho ko na siya on TV and sa movie. So, it would be exciting to work with  her again."

THE BASIS? 'Pag tinanggap niya ang movie with Star Cinema, ibig sabihin ba nito ay hindi siya lilipat?

Kasi, kung ang meeting niya with Star Cinema ay sa darating na January 27, ilang araw na lang at expired na ang kontrata niya.

"No. End of Feb. End of Feb," natatawa niya uling sagot.

"You know, when I met with ABS, I told them I'm really appreciative of what they've done and given me.

"Whatever decision I make... I know it makes me sound like I've made a decision, but whatever decision I make, I don't wanna burn bridges with TV5 or ABS.

    isa dito patawa talaga sana raw sa GMA na lng lilipat whatttttttttt? para maging LAOS duon ok lng sa TV5 maging LAOS at least bongga ang offer hindi pochu pochu kagaya sa inyo kaposoy kaya si mariane sobrang busy mas malaki pa kay angel na pa relax2x lng malaki pa kita ni angel.... alam niyo na yan hehehe

    number 44 tinanggal nila ang GGV di dahil sa ratings dahil iniiwasan nila ang sawa factor sa audience pero babalik ito 4 d meantime Sarah G Live muna... ganyan ang kapamilya di lng sila nag base sa ratings pinag isipan nila ng bonnggang bonnga ang shows nila .....kayo kaposoy 2012 na sana MAY MAPATUNAYAN na kayo.

    59, ang concern kasi ni derek is either fame and money.. alam naman nating lahat kung saan siya naging famous and popular, while alam din ng lahat kung sinong nag-oofer ng malakihan. So bakit pa siya pupunta stasyon na bagsakang laos at walang kinang. At one thing humatak siya sa MOVIES ha.. eh yung siete walang mai-oofer na magandang pelikula..ikasira pa tuloy ng career niya. Just Like Claudine from box-office de-kalidad movies napunta lang sa cheap na iglot at spookie at flop pa ang unang movie under GMA Pilms.

    gosh, the comments. no wonder pinoys are branded as monkeys in front of computers with the words of some people here.....stay loyal to your networks if you want, but its best not to gloat over other peoples' less fortune, kaya di yumayaman ang pilipinas....biruin nyo 100 million ang Pinoys, tatlo lang ang networks, dapat mga bente nga halos yan....we complain of lack of jobs but we support monotony.....isn't it ironic.

    Natawa naman ako kay Mercitaga, No.5. Hayaan na lang daw ang aparador ang lumipat dahil marami space sa TV 5. I think alam ko na ang tinutukoy mo. Kung lilipat si Derek, sino kapares niya, si Ruffa?
