It's that special day again for the most important woman in our life—our mother. Tomorrow, the whole world will be celebrating Mothers' Day and we asked some of our local celebrities: What's the best advice your mother gave you?

Camille Prats-Linsangan: "My mom has always been there for me. She was the one who pushed me to reach for my dreams. Where I am now is all because of her love and support. She never fails to remind me to always look back to where we came from and remember all the people who helped us along the way. To reach high and dream high, but to keep your feet on the ground. And to always be grateful for all the blessings that we have now.

"With the unconditional love and support she has given me, I am the luckiest girl in this planet to have a mom like her. She took care of me when I was pregnant in the States and left all my siblings here in the Philippines for two months. I know that was a sacrifice she had to do just to be with me and Nathan.

"Because of the love that she has shown me and my family, I will work hard to be the best mom and wife that I can be to my son and to my husband. Happy mom's day to us, mom!"

Chynna Ortaleza: "The most important thing my mama ever taught me was to always love and respect God, yourself, your family, and all the people you will encounter in your life. There is a lot of truth in this. Everything will almost always end up with a good result if you live life in that manner."

Yasmien Kurdi: "Laging sinasabi sa akin ni Mama, lalo na pagdating sa work ko, bago mag-start, mag-decide ka ng yes or no. Kung ano ang consequences no'n, panindigan mo at kung sinabi mong yes, huwag ka mag-quit sa middle. Hintayin mong matapos. My mom rocks! She's the best!"

Nikki Bacolod: "My mom has given me and my sisters so many pieces of advice. One of which is, ‘When you work, work with dignity,' and another one is, ‘Obey your parents.' And based on my experiences, those pieces of advice are worth obeying. Mucho gracias, Mama! Te quiero!"

Giselle Toengi-Walters: "My mother has always served as my inspiration. She raised all her children as a single parent and managed to provide for us the best she could. She is a survivor and I learned the principles of hard work, perseverance, and determination. I have always been ambitious in life and she told me never take ‘No!' for an answer.

"She truly is my idol and I hope to even be a fraction of the kind of mom she was to me, to my two children."

Christine Bersola-Babao: "My mama taught me the value of prayer in my life. And taking care of the welfare of those who serve and are loyal to us."

Angelika dela Cruz: "My mother taught me na family ang dapat na priority among other things."

Franco Laurel: "Be grateful with what you have. And the importance of family. At the end of the day, your family will always be with you no matter what. And because of that advice, I have become a better father to my kids and husband to Ayen! Thanks, Mom! I love you!"

Dingdong Dantes: "Start each day with a smile on your face and a song in your heart. This way, you can have a good day or a bad day, it's always your choice."

Paolo Ballesteros: "Feet always on the ground!"

Beth Tamayo-Wong: "Ang nanay ko, nakakatawa talaga in real life! I can make a book na hango sa mga kalokohan niya! I guess, I can say that her being so friendly, loving, and free-spirited have taught me to take things easy. For as long as I don't step on other people's toes, i-enjoy ko lang nang bongga ang buhay ko!

"She has taught me to always be grateful for whatever it is that I have, be it good or bad. Sa kanya, una lagi ang pamilya and that's how it's been ever since. Lahat ng kapatid ko na may sarili na ring families have been practicing that and yun din ang tinuturo sa mga anak nila.
