"Winner na winner!" was how Agimat actor Jolo Revilla describes his feeling right now. 

Aside from portaying a new role in ABC-CBN's weekly fantasy series Agimat: Mga Alamat Ni Ramon Revilla, Jolo is also ecstatic about the turnout of his parents' respective political bids—his father, re-electionist Senator Bong Revilla Jr. is leading the senatorial race while his mother, Lani Mercado, was proclaimed earlier as the representative of Bacoor. His uncle Strike Revilla also won as mayor of Bacoor.

"Siyempre ngayon, nakakatuwa, nakakataba ng puso. Winner si Papa, winner si Mama, winner ang tito ko. Actually, 'yong kay Mama, landslide victory, pati sa tito ko," said Jolo during the press conference of Agimat this afternoon, May 12, at the 9501 restaurant of ABS-CBN.

The young Revilla took the opportunity to defend his father from people who say that Sen. Revilla did nothing in the Senate. 

"Actually, hindi lang naman puro papogi," Jolo said. "Talagang actions speak louder than words. Hindi lang sanay sa pulitaktakan. Kumbaga, aksyon sa tunay na buhay."

Jolo similarly defended his mother. Although Lani is a first-time politician, Jolo said she already has enough experience in serving the public, especially in Cavite.

He related, "Actually, sa Cavite ngayon, siya 'yong sa Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (Menro). This is under the Environment [Dept. of Environment and Natural Resources]. Ever since naman, simula nang mag-Vice Governor 'yong dad ko, talagang tumutulong na siya. Noong Governor ang dad ko, siya 'yong nag-handle ng Cavite First Ladies Association. 

"Kumbaga, mas articulate pa nga 'yong mom ko pagdating sa batas, so talagang mapapangatawanan niya 'yong bilang congresswoman niya. 'Yong ibinigay sa kanya na suporta ng Bacoor at ng tiwala na ibinigay talaga sa kanya ng mga tao ay talagang kaya niyang gampanan at talagang hindi kami mapapahiya doon."

BACK TO SHOWBIZ? PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked Jolo if his parents have plans of returning to showbiz after the elections.

For his father, he said, "Alam ko, definitely, he's going back. Tingnan na lang natin."

For his mom, he said, "Siguro titigil muna siya sa showbiz. Kailangan niya munang mag-focus sa Congress. At the same time, 'yong pinangako niyang cityhood sa bayan namin, 'yon ang pinakaunang batas na ipapasa."

Since Jolo is part of a political clan, does he plan to join politics someday?

The 22-year-old actor replied, "Like I said, I'm still young. Let's just cross the bridge when we get there. I'm still young. Let's see. Ayaw kong unahan ang panahon. Bata pa naman ako, e. I-enjoy ko muna ang moment. Siguro mag-a-artista muna ako."

ON HIS LOVELIFE. While Jolo enjoys his parents' victory and his new TV project, it seems that he is lacking when it comes to his lovelife. Until now, Jolo claims that he is unattached and hasn't gone out on a date.

"Siyempre, hindi naman lahat makukuha mo," he stated. "Siguro nga ako ay may alat sa pag-ibig. Pero hindi naman sana. Talagang sinabi ko na after 'yong past relationship ko, naging masaya ako at marami akong natutunan. At the same time, this is a new book, panibagong simula. Talagang this time, alam kong kaya kong pangatawanan 'to."
