With the recent confirmation of Kristine Hermosa's pregnancy, it would seem that the pressure is now on Ciara Sotto to get herself knocked up as well. But Ciara takes it all in stride and is even happy for her family's baby boom.

Kristine is the wife of Ciara's first cousin, Oyo Sotto.

Aside from Kristine, Ciara is being surrounded by other pregnant women in her family.

Her other cousin Danica Sotto-Pingris, Oyo's sister, is also pregnant with her second child, as well as her sister-in-law Joy Woolbright, wife of her brother Gian.

"Ang saya nga, e, exciting! Kasi sabay-sabay silang tatlo," said Ciara when PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with her at the Cinemalaya 2011 press conference yesterday, June 8.

When asked if she feels any pressure to get pregnant, Ciara calmly answered, "No, wala namang ganun."

But is she and husband Joe Oconer planning to have a child of their own soon?

"Oo naman. Pero kami kasi, whenever God gives it lang."

Ciara and Joe have been married for more than a year.

Looking into the future, would she prefer to have a son or daughter for her first born?

"It doesn't matter," said Ciara.

"My husband mentioned to me before na gusto niya boy.

"But for me, okay lang kung boy or girl basta meron, di ba?"

Has she been getting pregnancy tips from her cousins?

"Si Danica, palagi niyang sinasabi na once you find out na pregnant na ka na, maglagay ka agad nung [anti-stretch marks] oil para maging elastic yung skin mo. Para pag lumaki yung tiyan, ma-prevent yung stretch marks.
