To keep herself fit, the only thing that Yassi Pressman does is dance.
"I like running, too. Pero I don't do it everyday, just when I have time," she says at the Energizer Night Race held at the Bonifacio Global City open grounds.
And what's her diet?
The Tween star says she prefers lots of fruits over rice.
But Yassi does not consider herself health conscious. "Huwag ako ang gayahin! Dapat talaga mag-gym. Kasi yun talaga, that's the quickest way even if it's just cardio, or running. It really helps. Ma-wo-workout yung whole body mo. You're gonna feel sweat na lumalabas," she retorts.
HER FIRST LOVE. What got her into dancing in the first place?
"I love dancing, performing, singing also!"
On dancing she relates, "I'd always copy Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera when I was young—just the bubbly type of songs.
"I'd love performing in front of friends. Doon ako super nag-e-enjoy."
On singing, it's a work in progress for her.
With a smile, she shared the good news, "I already have a song, on YouTube, it's called 'Magic,' with David Demuzio. It's an original."
This was released last September, and got included in David's album.
She recently sang in a Party Pilipinas episode this November. The song "That's Not My Name" was a cover.
Among the celebrities, Yassi looks up to Aira Bermudez of SexBomb. "Sobrang galing na girl dancer," she remarked. She also mentioned the names of Mark Herras and Sef Cadayonaibed as "unbelievable" and "grabe!"
Among singers, she admires, "Ate Rachelle Anne [Go], sobrang nagagalingan ako sa kanya in singing and dancing. That's what I want din."
