"Iwasto ang kasaysayan, 'yan ang talagang pinapangarap natin," said MTRCB Mary Grace Poe-Llamanzares on the call to declare her father, the late King of Philippine Cinema Fernando Poe Jr., the 14th Philippine President. He lost to ex-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, who had allegedly cheated him in the 2004 presidential race.

"Iwasto ang kasaysayan, 'yan ang talagang pinapangarap natin."

This was the statement of Movie and Television Review and Classification Board chairperson Mary Grace Poe-Llamanzares on the call to declare her father, the late King of Philippine Movies Fernando Poe Jr., as the 14th president of the Philippines.

"Da King" suffered a stroke and died a few months after losing to Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in the presidential race. That was seven years ago.

Most Filipinos believed he was robbed of the opportunity to lead our country.

GMA remained Philippine President until 2010 when she was elected representative of the second district of Pampanga.

When she got sick late this year, some people wondered if there was a chance to correct what has long been believed to be an error in the country's history.

Mary Grace and her mother, veteran actress Susan Roces, said they were willing to support the plan if it pushes through.

In an exclusive interview with Mornings@ANC host Pinky Webb, Susan said, "It's something that has to be set right. I don't know how they're gonna do it, if ever, but ipokrita ako kung sasabihin kong hindi."

PUNISH THE MASTERMIND OF ELECTION FRAUD. The PEPsters seemed undecided about the issue.

In a PEP poll last week, we asked the readers, "Sang-ayon ka ba sa hakbang na ideklarang 14th President ng Pilipinas si FPJ?"

The 855 unique voters were almost evenly split—49.71 percent for "Yes" and 50.29 percent for "No."

Most believed authorities should go after the real culprit in the 2004 election fraud.

PEPster 2psinapod said, "Wala na siya, wala na ang mga ballots noong nakaraang election, wala ng basehan."

THE PULSE. Commission on Election chairman Sixto Brillantes, Jr. said FPJ's declaration as Philippine president was impossible.

He reasoned out, "Wala na ang mga balota at iba pang datos noong 2004 elections kaya't hindi na rin ito muling mabibilang na siyang dapat na maging basehan kung sino ang nanalong kandidato.
