Last March 15, "horror rock" band Mr. Bones and the Boneyard Circus released their latest music video "Blood On The Road" at the Blackops Studio Asia in Makati. On that date too, this latest single from Bones Frankenstein (vocals), Alvin Chan (guitar), Karl Kliatchko (guitar), Carissa Ramos (bass), Karl Vito Cruz (keyboards), Jovic de Leon (drums) and Xombie (backup vocals), was also released on Spotify, Apple Music, and other leading digital platforms.
“'Blood On The Road' represents a new direction for the Boneyard Circus,” Kliatchko said about their new single from band's latest album The Grand Phantasma. “I think this may be the heaviest, most aggressive song our band has ever done.”
“It has all of the elements that define the Boneyard—those psychotic melodies and that circus-y grit,” explained the band's leader Badi del Rosario a.k.a. Mr. Bones. “'Blood On The Road' is a new monster by a stronger Boneyard Circus.”
As everyone who has been following local showbiz knows, Mr. Bones used to be in a relationship with Kapamilya actress Arci Muñoz, who fronts her own rock band, Philia, who happens to be pitted against Mr. Bones and the Boneyard Circus and three other rock bands (Typecast, Brisom, and Autotelic) for MYX Music Awards 2018's Rock Video of the Year honor.
Here are the nominated music videos from both Mr. Bones and the Boneyard Circus and Philia.
