Jamie Rivera's album titled Inspirations has been given a Gold Record Award.

Jamie Rivera continues to do what she does best—to inspire people with her gift of music.

Her latest release Inspirations, produced by Star Records, was recently awarded a Gold Record Award for its outstanding sales.

She remarks, “I am just so thankful that at this day and age of piracy people still buy my albums.

"In my own little way, I still can give people some inspiration.

“This award gives me a reminder that I am where He placed me to be. I am just happy to be doing His will for me.”

Dubbed as Inspirational Diva, Jamie began her music career as a pop singer, who eventually flew abroad to do the role of Kim in the hit international musical Miss Saigon.

In 2001, she became known for her inspirational music. Remember "Heal Our Land," which became popular during the EDSA 2 Revolution?

Recently, she recorded the new jingle of Catholic Radio Station Veritas 846, and also performed it at the Cuneta Astrodome.

“I love what I do and I am thankful that people still appreciate it,” says Jamie. “I hope people will continue supporting me.”
