Prior to its screening in the upcoming 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival New Wave category, Mulat (Awaken) had already garnered recognition as it bagged the Best Actor trophy for Jake Cuenca and Best Director Global (Diane Ventura) at the International Film Festival Manhattan (IFFM) in New York last November.
The indie film touches upon the complexities of love as reflected in the dynamics of intimate relationships.
It
will have screenings from December 17-24 at SM Megamall and Glorietta 4.
