Maine Mendoza, popularly known as Yaya Dub, is the most-searched female celebrity for 2015 based on data from Google Philippines.
The actress (who is seen regularly on Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye) can be considered this year's phenomenal star after her love team with Alden Richards called AlDub became viral on social media.
Maine outranked Caitlyn Jenner and Ronda Rousey who placed 2nd and 3rd, respectively, in the list of top trending female celebrities in the Philippines.
Meanwhile, Angelica Jane Yap (better known as Pastillas Girl of It's Showtime) also landed a spot at No. 9.
