Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimo sing for ABS-CBN election-themed summer station ID

Mar 7, 2016

Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimo performed the theme song of ABS-CBN's 2016 summer station ID (SID) themed "Ipanalo Ang Pamilyang Pilipino."

This time, the station ID is very different from previous productions since it puts the spotlight on the upcoming 2016 national elections.

The SID aims to persuade Pinoys to vote for leaders who will champion the Filipino family--leaders who are trustworthy and who will take action on the important issues of the Filipino families.

New Kapamilya Elmo Magalona, Erik Santos, Angeline Quinto, Yeng Constantino, Jed Madela, KZ Tandingan, Richard Poon, Morissette, Bradley Holmes, Jason Fernandez, Daryl Ong, and Ebe Dancel lend their voices for this new station ID.

Also appearing in the station ID are Kapamilya news anchors, actors and executives, including chief content officer Charo Santos-Concio.

Kapamilya stars who are running for office and those who are endorsing or are related to a candidate were not included in the station ID.

Inspired by the musical composition of Thyro Alfaro and Yumi Lacsamana, the station ID theme song was given a special musical arrangement by Marcus Davis and Jan Duran. The words were written by Lloyd Oliver Corpuz and Christian Abuel.

This Monday, March 7, ABS-CBN launches its "Ipanalo Ang Pamilyang Pilipino" summer station ID after TV Patrol.
