Award-winning film director Brillante Mendoza and co-founder Wilson Tieng led the opening ceremonies of the 2016 Sinag Maynila Film Festival held last night at SM Aura.
This year, five "exciting, diverse and socially relevant" indie films are included in the line-up of the film fest's second edition.
These are Lila directed by Gino M. Santos, T.P.O. directed by Jay Altarejos, MRS. directed by Adolf Alix Jr., Expressway directed by Ato Bautista, and Dyamper by Mes de Guzman.
The entries are being screened at SM Megamall, SM Aura, SM North Edsa, SM Mall of Asia, and SM Manila until April 26, 2016.

The documentary Human was screened as the opening film of Sinag Maynila.
