No amount of rain could stop music fans from experiencing MTV Music Evolution 2016 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on Friday night, June 24. The concert was headlined by American pop-rock band One Republic.

Raising the OPM flag at the second edition of MTV Music Evo were reel-turned-real life couple James Reid and Nadine Lustre, and the father-and-son tandem of Gary Valenciano, and Gab Valenciano.

Other performers for this year's MTV Music Evo were Kpop girl group APink, New York City-based singer/songwriter Bebe Rexha, and Los Angeles-based hip-hop and EDM group Far East Movement.
