Ricky Lee is the most-awarded scriptwriter in the Philippines. He has written more than 180 produced film scripts, earning him more than 80 trophies from award-giving bodies, and 25 life achievement awards from Gawad Urian, UP Gawad Plaridel, and other prestigious organizations. His scriptwriting workshops since the 80’s produced many of our country’s writers, filmmakers, and storytellers and included the likes of Lav Diaz, Jeffrey Jeturian, Jerry Sineneng, and more.
