"That came as a surprise.
Ayon kay Heart, "I'm very excited about Brandon Boyd. I noticed that some people are commenting about Brandon Boyd of Incubus. And for those of you that don’t know, Brandon Boyd is the lead singer of Incubus.
"And he’s been following me for a few months now and I didn’t know that. Kasi, when I checked his account, he’s been following me... I don’t know what to say."
"Apparently, we’ve been in contact with him and his team. We’re doing some projects, like, an art project together.
"Maybe I can mention a little bit, yeah. He appreciates my art.
"And honestly, I haven’t been really painting so much lately because of my schedule, obviously."
"He saw my art in one of my posts, and he really likes it. So, he’s including me in one of his few projects that will happen in the States, featuring my paintings.
"Yeah, I’m so happy about that. I’m so flattered. He’s a rock star. So for a rock star to like my paintings, I’m very, very happy and thrilled about that."
ON CRITICISM ABOUT HER PAINTINGS
Pag-amin ni Heart, "I’m kinda discouraged one time with somebody that said something. It got to me, yeah.
"It only got to me because he was part of the collector’s chat room and somebody that was also part of [the chat room] asked me if I can donate a painting and the proceeds will go to charity.
"Of course, I was super willing to do that, and I painted, like, five paintings. Somebody from that chat room messaged the head of the chat room, saying, 'Why are her works here?'
"I was so discouraged, I kinda cried and I stopped painting. I know it’s wrong, and I always say, 'Don’t get discouraged. Don’t let anybody stop you.'"
"But you know, when it comes to your art, you really get sensitive because it’s like the language of your soul. It’s not what you wear. It’s not how you look. It’s not what you write, or how you sing, but it’s your soul.
"So I really felt bad about it. I kinda stopped and waited for something."
ON MENTAL HEALTH CONCERNS
“I do suffer from a lot of, you know, mental issue. I had a really bad breakdown two years ago,” saad na lang niya.
