Rachelle Ann Go is still on a high over her comeback in Les Miserables this year after giving birth.
On September 11, 2021, after finishing six shows of the Les Miserables concert, Rachelle Ann posted on Instagram her photo dressed as her character Fantine.
The first day of the concert, which ran from August 31 to September 4 at the Sondheim Theatre in West End London, happened to fall on Rachelle Ann's 35th birthday.
She wrote in her caption, "Fantine for the nth time... It might be a while until I’m in costume again! So might as well do a photo shoot
"What an amazing birthday treat to do @lesmizofficial concert last week for 6 shows only!!!"
Rachelle Ann admitted in her post feeling apprehensive about doing the concert, and not just because it would take her away from her five-month-old baby, Lukas.
She continued, "I was so scared to do it since I didn’t know how I’m going to manage my time with Lukas.
"I told myself I couldn’t do it. How will I sing, I never sleep!
"But praise God we did it! Always do it scared right?! It all worked out :)
"Thank you to everyone who came to watch and to all the Filipinos who said hi after the show!!! #lesmisdiaryofrachelleanngo #Fantine #LesMiserables"
Rachelle Ann's last show before getting pregnant was in March 2020, where she reprised the role of Fantine in the musical's West End production.
Rachelle Ann then got pregnant and had to turn down a Les Miserables concert in London in December of the same year because of her pregnancy.
She remarked in a 24 Oras interview, “Baka pagka-belt ko baka bigla ako manganak sa stage!"
