Did Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza shoot kissing scene for My Bebe Love?

Alden Richards says about My Bebe Love, his MMFF 2015 entry with Maine Mendoza, "Kasi nung binasa po namin yung script, ako personally, kinikilig, e!"

Alden Richards admits that he is feeling inspired to work on My Bebe Love because he gets to work with Maine Mendoza.

"Siyempre naman po," confirmed Alden during the press conference of My Bebe Love held yesterday, December 9.

This rom-com is the first movie featuring the phenomenal AlDub love team that started out on Eat Bulaga last July 16.

So, makikita po dito talagang how do we deal with our projects in terms of acting po."

In My Bebe Love, Vic Sotto is cast as Vito who has a bitter professional rivalry with Cora (played by Ai-Ai delas Alas). The two are both in the business of mounting special events and productions and have both made a successful name in the same profession.

The conflict happens when their respective wards--Anna (played by Maine) daughter of Vito, gets romantically entangled with Cora’s nephew Dondi (played by Alden).

Alden considers this project as his biggest movie break since he started his career.

"Yung mga huling ginawa ko pong Metro Manila Film Festival [entries], medyo hindi po ganun ka-essential yung role. Minsan nandun lang po ako sa third roster of the stars."

It will be recalled that Alden was part of the ensemble cast of Ang Panday 2 (2011) and Sosy Problems (2012).

Masaya po and this is a chance for me na parang... I’ve always dreamt po of doing a big film sa Metro Manila Film Fest and I’m honored na kasama ko po ‘tong mga magagaling na artista po."

Can their fans (called Aldub Nation) expect kilig scenes from their movie?

He credits this to the joint efforts of Joey Reyes and Bibeth Orteza.

"Kasi the way na isinulat po ito ni Direk Joey and Direk Bibeth, yung kilig niya, simple lang, e. It’s not too complicated. So, makaka-relate po yung mga kabataang manonood, mga young at heart, yung mga lolo’t lola natin. Very light lang po yung movie. Walang masyadong iisipin, mag-e-enjoy lang po sila."

Maine added, "Kilig pa more!"

Alden compared this movie to their Kalyeserye by saying, "Eto po, bigger screen, e. So, yung kilig po nila, mas bigger!"

Maine then agreed by saying, "Literal... kasi ibang character na po kasi yung ginagampanan namin, e. Basta feel-good movie lang po talaga ‘to."

Alden said that there were some references to Kalyeserye wherein Maine plays Yaya Dub. "Maraming kilig moments. May mga konting in relation siya sa Kalyeserye, pero very light lang."

Did they shoot a kissing scene for their MMFF 2015 entry?

Maine exclaimed, "Ay, abangan na lang po!"

For his part, Alden said, "Surprise!"
