One Day Isang Araw teaches kids how to deal with bullies

PRESS STATEMENT FROM GMA-7:

"GMA Network’s One Day Isang Araw will tackle the importance of pursuing one’s interests and bullying this Saturday (July 27) after 24 Oras Weekend.

"In the episode, Marc Justine Alvarez will play the role of Monching, a young boy who loves dancing but is being forced to learn Taekwondo.

"Adding pressure to Monching is Billy (Carl Acosta) and his bully friends who keep taunting him for being different. They even call him names and tease him as being gay.

"Monching not only learns to fight back, but he also learns why kids like Billy become bullies. It turns out that Billy is being bullied by his abusive father.

"At the end, the episode imparts a two-fold lesson: to pursue one’s interests even if it is not popular and not to quickly judge other people’s actions.

"One Day Isang Araw airs every Saturday at 6PM on GMA."
