"Blurred Lines" singer Robin Thicke is expected to arrive in Manila in time for the launch of what is touted as the "world's largest dancing water fountain."
The American singer became controversial when Miley Cyrus did her twerking dance moves with him during the 2013 MTV Video and Music Awards.
On March 31, Robin will be in the Philippines for the inaugural performance of The Fountain in Okada Manila. This dancing fountain is even bigger than the one located at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.
The Fountain in Okada Manila, which reportedly costs US$ 30 million, contains the equivalent of 50 Olympic-size swimming pools.
It offers water, light and music performances powered by advanced underwater robots, more than 2,000 lights, dozens of high-fidelity speakers, and more than 700 high-power jets.
Viewers can expect a highly immersive projection mapping onto the glass surface of the 800 meter-long crystal corridor surrounding The Fountain.
The grand celebration will also feature live performances by the acrobats of World of Wonders, the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, and Asia's Got Talent finalist Gerphil Flores.
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach will host the event at Okada Manila located in New Seaside Drive, Entertainment City, Paranaque City.
