Peter Pan will be staged at the Meralco Theater from September 30 to October 30

Peter Pan further cements Sam’s stature as the prime leading man of family musicals in the country.

Star Magic talent Sam Concepcion will topbill the musical Peter Pan, which will go onstage at the Meralco Theater from September 30 to October 30, 2011.

STAGES and Repertory Philippines' Peter Pan is an apt project for the celebration of its lead star Sam Concepcion's 10th year in the showbiz industry.

Peter Pan further cements Sam's stature as the prime leading man of family musicals in the country having topbilled three hit productions The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, High School Musical, and NOAH.

"Peter Pan is big in so many aspects. It can be said that this is the most expensive show I have been in," enthused Sam.

Sam also added, "I am very fortunate that this project has been entrusted to me.

"People can expect a lot of flying from Peter Pan.

"It is a perfect show for the whole family."

This production is also the first time that this version of Peter Pan, written by Stiles and Drewe and the late Willis Hall, will be staged in Asia. It relives Sir James Barrie's timeless tale of the boy who never grew up.

Sam has already appeared in movies (Shake, Rattle and Roll 9, Cinco, Way Back Home), and TV series (Super Inggo, Walang Kapalit, I Love Betty La Fea and Good Vibes). He has also made his mark in the concert scene (I'll Find Your Heart 1 and 2, front act for Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift) as well as the recording industry (Sam Concepcion, Pop Class). He is also part of TV shows such as ASAP Rocks and played the lead star in youth-oriented shows such as Shoutout and Good Vibes.

"Everything I have learned in my endeavors from the last decade, you will see when you watch Peter Pan.

"This is one unforgettable show, so I hope everyone will catch this fun, fun show," disclosed Sam.

Aside from Sam, Peter Pan also stars Michael Williams as Hook, and ABS-CBN's rising star Tippy Dos Santos (seen in ABS-CBN's Idol and Shoutout) as Wendy with Cara Barredo as alternate. This production is directed by Jaime Del Mundo and Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo.

Peter Pan goes onstage starting September 30 to October 30, 2011 at the Meralco Theater. For tickets, call Ticketworld at 891-9999.
