Vic Sotto and Aiza Seguerra comment on Kris Aquino's parenting style

"Makikita mo sa produkto yung pagpapalaki [niya sa anak niya]," says Vic Sotto on Kris Aquino's parenting style. Bossing Vic got to observe Kris as she took care of Bimby while they were shooting the Metro Manila Film Fest entry My Little Bossings.

The kind of mother Kris Aquino is could not be more evident than during the filming of My Little Bossings—and she has testimonials from her co-stars to prove it.

My Little Bossings is one of eight official entries to the 39th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) that will open on December 25. Playing the title roles are Kris’ son James “Bimby” Yap Jr. and child sensation Ryzza Mae Dizon.

Co-star Vic Sotto, for one, sees how Kris is raising her children. “She’s a very good mother. Makikita mo sa produkto yung pagpapalaki [niya sa mga anak niya]. Some people will say she has a tendency to spoil her children pero mababait ang mga bata. Masunurin ang mga anak niya,” says Bossing Vic.

Aiza Seguerra, who plays the role of Vic’s daughter in the movie, echoes Bossing’s sentiments. “Kris makes time for her son kahit busy siya at maraming trabaho. Yun ang pinakamatimbang at dun ako napabilib. Nagpapakita siya ng suporta at nagbibigay ng oras. Not a lot of people can say the same for themselves,” says the former Eat Bulaga child star.

But for Kris, what makes her proud is not the amount of praise she has received for being a good mom but the fact that Bimby didn’t give the crew a hard time during the movie’s filming. “Considering na siya ang maliit sa amin, di siya pasaway. Dun ako proud,” says Kris.

The TV host-actress also emphasizes that she will support Bimby’s dreams, whatever they may be. “Kung gusto niya maging abogado, mag-artista, support ako dun kasi yun dapat ang role ng magulang. Basta everything he is earning now he can get when he graduates from college or when he turns 25. Para makita niya yung pinaghirapan namin,” Kris ends.
