As far as Kris Aquino is concerned, the timing was right when Coco Martin expressed his desire to do a horror film and singled out her movie Feng Shui as one of his favorites.
At that time, Feng Shui was about to celebrate its 10th year.
After getting the nod of director Chito Roño to helm it again, Kris was ecstatic.
“This is not a sequel but a continuation. Ako ang ahente na nagbenta ng bahay kina Coco [at dun nila nakita yung bagua],” reveals Kris.
Feng Shui 2 is one of the official entries to the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
Only the characters of Kris, Cherry Pie Picache, Junie Gamboa, and terrifying Lotus Feet are retained in Feng Shui 2.
Coco is eager to share the big screen with no less than the box-office horror queen in his first horror film.
“Kinakabahan ako pero pangarap kong makagawa ng horror movie. Kung gagawa din lang ako, yun nang kasama ko si Ate Kris. Forte niya ito,” admits the ABS-CBN actor.
