The Kris Aquino-Coco Martin starrer Feng Shui 2 has already reached the 200 million mark.

Kris divulged that their MMFF entry has already earned P200.8 million as of 5 p.m. last Sunday, January 4.

The TV host-actress said that she has been praying that this horror film will allow her co-star Coco Martin to be dubbed as “movie royalty.”

Kris posted on her Instagram account (published as is), “When I prayed for Feng Shui, I asked God to bless our hard work & please reward Direk @chitorono & @mr.rodelnacianceno for their trust in me for sharing financially w/ our production cost.

“I told Coco, prayer ko talaga that Feng Shui will be his 1st P200 million movie because the Primetime King should also be certified movie royalty. And Direk Chito & I silently held our breath to see if Feng Shui could surpass the 1st installment as well as our Sukob.

“Thank You for entrusting us w/ your hard earned Christmas money. Thank You for making us so grateful for the fruits of our labor. Thank you to all of you who gave us 2 hours of your time to be part of the Feng Shui experience.

“Thank You! #grateful #blessed #humbled #JOY.”

During the MMFF 2014 awards night, the horror movie did not win any award.

QUEEN OF HORROR MOVIES. In a previous interview with PEP, Feng Shui 2 director Chito Rono believes that Kris Aquino really owns the title “Queen of Philippine Horror Movies.”

Direk Chito also directed Kris’ blockbuster horror movies Sukob (2006) and the first installment of Feng Shui (2004).

“The only time na we found out that she can really manage this kind of characters…is the drive of the person to be better, to have a better life.

"And to achieve something, she... 'tapos may mga kumokontra from other forces, so, parang it became perfect for her.

"At saka, ang core ng character niya ay yung being a mother, and that made her very effective sa unang Feng Shui.

"This time, she has to survive, she has to move on, she has moved on to a better place after the tragedy ten years ago, and her joy is to fight again after a life na nanakaw sa kanya, o nanakawin pa rin ba sa kanya?

"I think it's perfect for Kris.

"At saka, yung maturity niya as an artist, sa pagiging aktres niya o bilang host, really helped a lot.

"The way she'd being doing her role, swak talaga sa kanya."
