In 2011, we saw Eugene Domingo playing herself in Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank. In that first installment, Eugene, together with her friends, aimed to make a film fit for international recognition. It succeeded.
In Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2 #ForeverIsNotEnough, Eugene reprises that role, this time with a slightly different batch of co-stars, and aims to do even better. Will it succeed this time?
Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2 #ForeverIsNotEnough is one of the eight official entries to the 42nd Metro Manila Film Festival.
The rest of the eight are Die Beautiful, Kabisera, Oro, Saving Sally, Seklusyon, Sunday Beauty Queen, and Vince & Kath & James.
Here are some scenes from the official trailer of Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2 #ForeverIsNotEnough:
Eugene Domingo's character is excitedly searching for new material for her film, eager to be in front of the camera again.
Her friends, played by Kean Cipriano and Cai Cortez, are back once again to work with her on the film.
One of the ideas they toy with is a love story with Jericho Rosales in the cast, where Eugene leaves Jericho heartbroken.
Jericho is on his knees crying and begging Eugene to stay.
In the storyline, veteran actor Joel Torre is among the choices as Eugene’s leading men, but they question whether he may be “too mature.”
Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2 #ForeverIsNotEnough is directed by Marlon Rivera, and promises cameo appearances by other celebrities. It will be shown along with the rest of the official entries on December 25, 2015 to January 7, 2016.
The much-awaited MMFF Awards Night is set on December 29.
