Mart Escudero and Jenica Garcia clash with ghosts in "Hide and Seek"

The love team of Mart Escudero and Jenica Garciawill be launched in Regal Entertainment's creepy Halloween treat, Hideand Seek. The movie opens in theaters nationwide on October 31.

From Regal Entertainment—themaker of horror flicks such as the Shake, Rattle and Roll series, Sigaw,Bahay ni Lola, and Tiyanak—comes another spine-tingling filmthat will thrill the entire family.

The project is Hide and Seek, which stars talentedactors Eric Quizon, Jean Garcia, Alessandra de Rossi, Ryan Eigenmann, and thesensational love team of Mart Escudero and Jenica Garcia, who are being launchedin this big-budget and heart-pounding movie.

This is the first movie of Martand Jenica who gained recognition and legions of fans through the primetimedrama Impostora. The new romantic pair now star in GMA-7's PasanKo ang Daigdig and the youth-oriented show Boys Nxt Door.

Also in the cast of Hide andSeek are Valeen Montenegro, Rubirubi, Julijo Pisk, and Angel Sy.

Eric plays Oliver, a universityprofessor who is tried and then acquitted in a high-profile crime. He and wifeLeah (Jean) with son Uno (Julijo) and Nica (Jenica) go to the province to calmdown after the very stressful event in their lives. Nica resents her stepfatherwhom she believes is actually guilty. Trailing the family is the characterplayed by Mart, a most persistent suitor of Nica.

Unknown to Oliver and family, themansion where they take refuge is haunted. Ghosts from the corners of the homeand ghosts from the corners of their hearts taunt the family. They mightbe able to run away from the creepy creatures that seek them but can theyescape from the monsters within them?

Executive producer Mother LilyMonteverde sums up the premise of Hide and Seek: "The more youhide, the more ghosts will seek you."


Hide and Seek is thesecond horror movie of Regal to be shown this year; it comes at the heels of Tiyanaks,which did well at the box-office when it was shown earlier this year. "Horroris my forte," says the producer who has been making movies for more than 40years. "The genre has become my specialty because I know what would scare themovie audience. I myself get scared easily."

Aside from her gut feel, instinctfor what makes a great horror movie, Mother Lily also has a sixth sense. "Like noongpumunta ako sa shooting ng Hide and Seek sa Pampanga, naramdaman ko namay mga multo doon. Tumayo ang mga balahibo ko sa braso!"

Mother Lily and Hide and Seekdirector Rahyan Carlos promise a motion picture that will make your hair standon end as you grip your seat.
