Tell us about your experience while doing this film Transit?

“It was very, very difficult very honestly. Sobrang nahirapan ako with the lines pero at the end of the day kinaya ko, I was able to deliver…I hope? He [referring to Direk Paul Soriano] is here at sinabi niyang magaling ako in this film, I think I’ve done my part and this is one of my indie films in my career. Sobrang saya ko.”

First time mo bang pumunta sa Israel? How was the experience shooting in Israel?

“Yes! First time! It was very different. Very strict sila because of what’s happening there. Pero masaya because we got to explore a little bit about the Holy Land, kung saan si Jesus ipinanganak, yung pilgrimage niya during the Stations of the Cross. Sobrang nakaka-overwhelm yung buong experience.”

“Siguro yung Wailing Wall sa loob ng Jerusalem and the old city of Jerusalem because you got to see the culture of people who live there, yung pagiging commited nila sa religion and culture nila, very intense. And that is so inspiring that we can relate to as Filipinos.”

What made you accept this Cinemalaya entry?

“I saw it as a great way to learn more about my craft and also to begin with a great producer, I knew it would be promising. The learning experience, I have a good team to begin with. Alam natin na ang producer ay Direk Paul Soriano, we all know that it would be promising because he will not settle for anything less. Thankfully enough, we saw the trailer pa lang, I am so satisfied in everything , all the hardwork that everyone put on the film.”

“Sobrang natuwa si Ate for me. Pero yun nga because I touched the territory for her, may konting selos pero siyempre naintindihan niya the difference of her career. Pero sobrang saya niya na experience ko yung mga ganitong bagay kasi she knows it’s for my growth as a person and as an actress. She gave a few tips because she has friends in the industry.
