CHALLENGING ROLE. When Kim talked about her movie during the movie's press conference, she admitted that working on Bride for Rent is a big challenge for her.

Parang nawala.’

“Pero sabi ko, ‘Ako pa rin po yun. Yun lang, ang role parang nakakapanibago.’

“Nakakapanibago rin para sa akin, as in maging komedyante to the highest level.

Kim said about the roles she portrayed in the past, “Alam naman po natin na yung mga roles ko, iyak-iyak, inaapi, drama, kawawa...

"Dito, pinalayas. Ginawang katulong.

“At saka, mas agresibo ngayon.

“One of the boys kasi siya rito.

This 2014, Kim wants to offer something different to viewers.

Sabay-sabay tayong ma-in love sa pelikula.”

ON TURNING 24. By April 19, Kim will celebrate her 24th birthday. She believes it is time for her to be more daring in her choices.

According to Kim, she observed gay people around her to help develop her character Rocky.

CAREER PRESSURE. Bride for Rent is the opening salvo of Star Cinema for 2014. The said production outfit has just released box-office hits in the 39th Metro Manila Film Festival.

To date, Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy earned P425 million while Pagpag, Siyam na Buhay grossed P180 million.

As for the KimXi tandem, their first movie in 2013, Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo, earned P100 million in less than three weeks in the box-office.

Does Kim feel pressured for her newest film to match the peformance of these blockbuster movies?

She hopes that moviegoers will support her newest romantic comedy.

“And then, after that, back to reality na sila.”

Does Kim feel more comfortable starrin in a romantic comedy compared to romantic drama?

“Hindi ko po alam,” said Kim, before asking Mae Czarina Cruz.
