“I auditioned po for the movie before I started with Innamorata last Febrauary.
“I was sent the script and schedule ng audition through an email forwarded by Direk Leo Martinez.
“Direk Leo po is one the producers of the movie.
“When they said that I was chosen to play Ada, I was so overjoyed!
“Being in an international movie is like a dream come true for me.”
“REMEMBERING ADA is a profound epic drama exploring the journey of love and life, and how it can withstand the test of time. The couple Adeline Tanglao (Ada) and Ethan Santos gave up the hope of seeing each other again, but never really gave up their love for each other when they were inevitably separated 50 years ago.
“The present, 2050, Philippines. Franz Dimayuga, a young executive and an aspiring writer, stumbles upon a sketchbook at a coffee shop. The sketchbook, page after page, contains drawings of a charming woman, and along with it, notes written in an unknown language. His interest in finding out the story behind it, and hopefully making it his own, leads him to Ethan, the owner of the book.
“The past, 2007, Middle East. Ethan is young and energetic. He is a journalist working for Inquirer. His brother flies him to the middle east to attend the former’s wedding. It was at that wedding that Ethan meets Ada, the girl who will change the course of his life. They meet, fall in love, and venture on a winter romance. Being young and carefree, the couple forgot one major factor: they are in the Middle East, a conservative region when it comes to relationships.
"Ultimately, their action triggers a chain of events that would separate them without any kind communication.”
Dagdag pa ni Max, “The story is quite similar to the film The Notebook.
“There’s a story of long lost love angle. It’s very dramatic.
“I had to learn how to play the violin because of my character Ada.
“I hired a private teacher to teach me how to play the violin.
“Kaya po during the run of Innamorata, I was preparing for the film and taking up violin lessons.
Maraming kailangan na alamin about the instrument and kailangan may confidence ka in playing it.
“I have learned a lot and I hope when we start shooting, hindi ko makalimutan yung mga natutunan ko,” ani Max.
“When Innamorata ended last June, nag-focus muna ako sa pag-prepare for this movie.
“But they can still watch me sa Bubble Gang. Pati na rin sa Sunday All Stars.
“Kapag naayos na raw lahat, we will start shooting na for Remembering Ada.”
