Liza Soberano, Enrique support Bea, Charo at Eerie premiere

Celebrities came to support Charo Santos-Concio and Bea Alonzo at the premiere night of their horror movie, Eerie.

The movie premiere was held yesterday, March 26, at SM Megamall.

At the red carpet, Charo and Bea were joined by their director, Mikhail Red.

Eerie had its world premiere in Singapore in December 2018. Aside from being shown in the Philippines today, March 27, Eerie will be shown in other Asian countries as well.

After the screening, real-life couple Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil were interviewed backstage.

In the middle of their interview, Enrique made a gesture to make Liza more presentable in front of the cameras.




In the movie Eerie, Bea Alonzo's character Patricia is a clairvoyant guidance counselor. She works with Charo Santos-Concio's character who is a strict mother superior named Sor Alice. Set in 1995, the movie takes place at the Sta. Lucia Academy for Girls where students and nuns have to deal with restless spirits.

Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil said that they are both fans of horror movies and are open to doing a horror film in the future.

The two were holding hands as they walked the red carpet. LizQuen recently top-billed the Black Sheep movie Alone/Together.

Joshua Garcia went solo at the premiere.

His love-team partner and girlfriend, Julia Barretto, is currently in Japan filming a movie with Gerald Anderson.

This is also the reason why Gerald, the real-life boyfriend of Bea, was unable to attend the premiere of Eerie.

Wansapanataym lead actor McCoy de Leon was all smiles at the red carpet. When asked to describe Eerie in one word, McCoy quipped: "#posporo." Moviegoers will find out why he chose this word when they watch the Star Cinema movie.
