Anne Curtis recalls “embarrassing” French kiss with Alexander Dreymon for Blood Ransom

“It’s one of the most embarrassing moments of my life!” exclaimed Anne Curtis about her kissing scene with Blood Ransom leading man Alexander Dreymon.

The Hollywood actor is currently in the Philippines to promote his upcoming movie with the ABS-CBN actress.

Alexander described their movie as a “vampire story” when he and Anne appeared as guests on the October 7 episode of Aquino and Abunda Tonight.

Blood Ransom is the first international movie of Anne who shot the film in mid-2012. In the film, Anne is cast as Crystal while Alexander plays Jeremiah.

The Kapamilya actress said their vampire movie is “perfect for Halloween” since their movie will open in Philippine cinemas by October 29. It is scheduled to be screened in the United States by October 31.

Anne recalled her shock when she realized that she had to do a French kiss with her leading man in front of the cameras.

She pointed out: “Because, you know, the Filipino film industry is different from how they do kissing scenes over there."

Kris Aquino explained, ‘Kasi dito, pag nagki-kiss ka, no tongue. You open your mouth pero wala, you pretend.”

Anne admitted: "It took me a while to get it right.”

Francis dela Torre, the Filipino-American director of Blood Ransom, instructed the stars to do their kissing scene for much longer.

Anne finally realized that they needed to French kiss when "he [referring to Alexander] just told me that this is what we have to do... He was kind enough to tell me that, 'This is not how you do it.' I was like, 'Oh, my god!' I started sweating.”

Alexander said with a smile: "I wasn't embarrassed [to tell her]!"

Francis dela Torre is also behind the 2011 movie Subject: I Love You, which starred Dean Cain and Jericho Rosales who won Best Actor at the Newport Beach Film Festival for this movie.

Alexander is best known as Luke Ramsey in the TV series American Horror Story: Coven. He was born in Germany but he grew up in France. He will be shooting the BBC America historical epic The Last Kingdom in Budapest during the first half of 2015.
