Kim Chiu regrets not having father figure in the past

Kim Chiu regrets that she blocked out her parents from her life. "Sana kung mabalik ko man iyon, sana nagkaroon ako ng father figure sa pagkatao ko,” said the actress who grew up with her grandparents when her parents separated.

Kim Chiu, Xian Lim and Ai-Ai delas Alas were all asked to ponder about the moments in their life when they wanted to turn back the hands of time, just like the characters in their latest movie, Past Tense.

During their press conference, the lead stars of this Star Cinema movie were asked: what is in your past that you want to forget and why?

For Kim, she regrets missing out on the times when she could have developed a closer bond with her father.

"Kasi ‘Bakit niyo kami iniwan?’

Kim's parents separated when she was nine years old.

Her dad had a new family and moved to Mindoro while her mom moved to Hong Kong.

In May 2013, Kim already forgave her father whom she has not spoken to for the past five years. Kim's mother died in June 2013.

The ABS-CBN actress admitted:

Life is short.

Now, the 24-year-old actress is bent on making up for lost time.

XIAN LIM ON BULLYING. Xian, who used to be overweight when he was younger, recalls that he had to deal with bullying while he was studying in the United States.

“Back in middle school, yung mga classmates ko, since kakadating ko lang [sa U.S.], maraming may ayaw sa akin. Hindi naman sa ugali ko, but because I’m just different.

Marami ring naging haters, nagiging bullies, hindi ka nila gusto kasi wala kang group of friends. So during high school, I felt very alone and sad.”

Looking back on this period of his life, Xian disclosed that he could have improved his way of dealing with people back then.

AI-AI ON LOVE LIFE. For the Concert Comedy Queen, she revealed her past desire to be a flight stewardess.

When it comes to her love life, the comedienne says she has let go of her painful past.
