ABS-CBN Films temporarily halts production; micro cinemas cancel screenings

In compliance with the government-implemented community quarantine guidelines, ABS-CBN Films announces the temporary suspension of all movie shootings. Likewise, micro cinemas such as Cinema '76 and Cinema Centenario have cancelled all movie screenings until further notice.

Adhering to the health measures and community quarantine guidelines implemented by the government, ABS-CBN Films temporarily halts all movie shootings.

Studios and production houses under ABS-CBN Films include Star Cinema, Black Sheep, Cinebro, and Cinema One.

Likewise, micro cinemas Cinema '76 and Cinema Centenario have cancelled all movie screenings in light of the community quarantine.

Early on Saturday, March 14, the Palace released guidelines for the Metro Manila community quarantine.

Public events have been cancelled to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Such events include movie screenings, sports events, concerts, community assemblies, and "non-essential work-related gatherings."
