The Angelica Panganiban-JM de Guzman starrer, That Thing Called Tadhana, has already earned P100 million pesos in less than two weeks.
This romantic comedy film first had a limited run in November 2014 as part of the 10th Cinema One Originals Film Festival.
That Thing Called Tadhana, which has been graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board, started its regular run in nationwide cinemas on February 4.
The movie depicts the story of heartbroken Mace Castillo (Angelica Panganiban) who meets Anthony Lagdameo (JM de Guzman) at an airport in Italy on her way back to the Philippines. On a whim, the two complete strangers go on a trip to Baguio for Mace to "find herself," but will they find love instead?
The film has become a big hit among Netizens for its quotable "hugot" lines.

Angelica was extremely overwhelmed by the strong support. She posted the amount P100 million on her Instagram account ang posted this as her caption: "Salamat. Wala na kami masabi... Salamat.

Written and directed by Antoinette Jadaone, That Thing Called Tadhana earned the Audience Choice Award and Best Actress for Angelica during the 2014 Cinema One Originals film festival.
