The first movie project of Coco Martin and Toni Gonzaga is still being shown in cinemas amidst strong competition from Hollywood movies.
You're My Boss has reportedly earned P210 million in the box-office as of April 23, according to Star Cinema.
In her Instagram account, Toni shared a photo of her posing with Direk Antoinette Jadaone and her leading man Coco.
Toni posted this as her caption: "What a blessing na makatrabaho kayong dalawa sa pelikulang ito! I will never forget this experience! Maraming salamat @tonet_jadaone and Coco.. Pwede na tayong mamasyal ng naka helicopter may envelope na!Hahaha!!!"
This romantic comedy was given a grade of B by the Cinema Evaluation Board.
When it opened in cinemas last Black Saturday, April 4, the film had an opening day gross of P25 million.
Three days later, it grossed P65 million and it breached the P100 million mark in a span of six days.
Despite strong competition from Fast and Furious 7, the rom-com partly shot in Batanes was able to gross P200 million on its third week.
Toni thought that their film would no longer be shown since Avengers: Age of Ultron opened in Philippine cinemas on April 22. However, their movie about the role reversal between a boss and her assistant is still being shown in Metro Manila and several provinces.
Last April 20, Toni told her fans via her Instagram account: "This is probably our last week of showing because The Avengers is opening na this Wednesday. We opened against Fast and the Furious and in the natural we didn't have a chance. But nothing is impossible with God! Sa lahat ng tumangkilik and naging option panuorin ang aming pelikula, Maraming Maraming salamat po:) Thank you mula sa puso naming lahat na bumubuo ng #YoureMyBoss Coco, @carmiraymundo @tonet_jadaone #toGodbetheGlory"
