Anne Curtis deliberately takes a break from doing teleseryes to give priority to ABS-CBN's noontime show It's Showtime.
In a recent interview with the actress-TV host, she said, “It's Showtime muna at saka movies. Kasi, kapag may teleserye ako, nawawala ako sa It's Showtime.”
Anne also pointed out that if she will be given another TV series, she hopes it's not a fantaserye.
“Basta hindi fantaserye, okay. Parang okay na ako. I think I paid my dues na sa teleserye, sa mga fantaserye,” said the former Dyesebel actress with smile.
Right now, Anne is dividing her time between the Kapamilya noontime program It's Showtime and a movie, which she cannot talk about yet.
However, she did tell entertainment reporters, “It's a serious movie. Hindi ko alam kung pwede ko nang sabihin, pero it's definitely something I haven't done before.
“It's a lot more mature than any roles that I have done before.
“'Yong character and I'm also gonna show a little bit of flesh, but in a way that... Hindi ko ma-explain!
“Basta maiintindihan n'yo kapag nalaman n'yo na 'yong plot.”
What excites her about this new movie project?
Anne flashed a smile, “Ang ganda, e. Ang ganda ng role, ang ganda ng story, ang ganda ng character, and it's very relevant.”
