Angelica Panganiban and Buboy Villar received acting nominations in the 5th Guam International Film Festival.
The Kapamilya actress got a nod in the Achievement in Acting category for playing a heartbroken woman in the 2014 Cinema One entry titled That Thing Called Tadhana.
Buboy, on the other hand, is also an Achievement in Acting nominee for portraying the young Manny Pacquiao in the biopic Kid Kulafu.
The 2015 Guam IFF is scheduled to take place from September 26-30. �
An international screening of That Thing Called Tadhana is set for September 26.
The romantic comedy is described in the Guam IFF official website as follows: "That Thing Called Tadhana is the story of two strangers who meet in an airport and form a charming friendship in an attempt to mend each other’s hearts."
The Filipino movie directed by Antoinette Jadaone is a Guam IFF Grand Jury Nominee for Best Narrative Feature.�
