Rhian Ramos on having a non-showbiz boyfriend: “We have the freedom to actually have a disagreement without my being afraid that it’s going to end up on Twitter tomorrow, or something like that. Parang it’s not something built-in sa mentality ng non-showbiz people that I found."

“Ako naman kasi, I’m the type of person who would really encourage myself [to reach my] full potential.

“Gusto rin niya [Jason] na, in all of my decision making, inuuna ko yung gusto ko, bago ko siya i-consider.

“He even tells me that.

“So, he’s very supportive in that sense. So kapag napanood niya yung movie, he would even be proud.”

“By the time na nalaman ko na ilalabas nga namin ang Silong, we already shot it.

“By the time that me and Jason got together, we have already shot everything, so there was no time for him to think about that part.”

MORE PRIVACY.

“I personally think na it’s a good thing, kasi mas may chance ako to have privacy in the relationship.

“And I found out na, when you are sanay with so much attention, parang it’s an option to use it as a weapon.

“The relationship that we have now, we have the freedom to argue about things.

“And, it’s normal.

“We have the freedom to actually have a disagreement without my being afraid that it’s going to end up on Twitter tomorrow, or something like that.

“Parang it’s not something built-in sa mentality ng non-showbiz people that I found.

“Na parang, 'If we have a disagreement, I’m gonna tweet about it.'”

“Pero, he’s just really mature about it.”

NOT STARSTRUCK.

“I seldom watch TV shows, even when it’s myself [who stars in it].

“So, building up to that moment, hindi naman.

“And, I didn’t feel anything, any kind of excitement.

“But when you meet him [Piolo], you can really feel that kind of…whatever it is, he got it.

NOOD KA MUNA!

“So, you know, when you meet him, you can tell na he’s really a different kind of human [being]; he’s alien at nakakapangiti siya [ng tao].”

“A, yeah.

“You can really say na he has that X-factor, na when you meet him, there’s just something disarming about him.”
