Digital Viva is releasing its third gay-themed movie this July 9, ang pelikulang Kambyo.
After releasing two critically acclaimed gay-themed movies, director Jay Altarejos and writer Lex Bonife shift gears for a fun romp road trip movie titled Kambyo na ipapalabas sa University of the Philippines Film Center on July 5. Ang kanilang mga naunang pelikula ay ang Ang Lalaki sa Parola at Ang Lihim Ni Antonio (na siyang invited na mag-compete sa New York Gay and Lesbian Film Festival).
Ang Kambyo ay tungkol sa tatlong magkakaibigan na nag road trip for one of them to find a long lost friend. A fifth wheel joined in as a hitchhiker.
Magbibida sa Kambyo sina Men of Provoq Johnron Tanada and Gabz Del Rosario, Lihim ni Antonio sensation Kenjie Garcia, Duda and Bathhouse find Rayan Dulay, and former TGIS kid Harold Macasero.
The road trip of the men will start in U.P. and will end in Ilocos.
Kambyo means a lot for director Jay and writer Lex. Drama kasi ang una nilang Lalaki sa Parola, tragic naman ang Ang Lihim Ni Antonio so very light lang ang Kambyo compared to the first two movies.
This doesn't mean that the connoisseurs of gay themed movies will be disappointed dahil there will still be a lot skin exposures, including a passionate love scene kina Johnron and Rayan. Rayan knows he has a frontal scene in the movie; hindi pa alam at hesitant si Johnron kung nakitaan daw siya. Gabz has butt exposure and considerably tame ang kina Kenjie and Harold.
Dagdag ni Kenjie, nang naghubad lang daw siya ng pang-itaas sa surfing scene ang pinaka bold niya rito dahil he has nothing to prove after his long frontal exposure sa Ang Lihim Ni Antonio, which was shown in the country last February this year.
