Fans all over the world followed the romance between two unlikely sweethearts—the basketball jock Troy Bolton and the pretty math whiz Gabriella Montez—in the Disney Channel original movie High School Musical. In the first installment of this made-for-TV movie, Troy and Gabriella became the lead stars of a musical and manage to upstage drama queen Sharpay Evans and her brother Ryan. In the second installment, the East High kids get summer jobs in a posh country club owned by the Evans family.

As fans anxiously await the big screen presentation of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures announces the launch of the film's Philippine first-look trailer on Wednesday, July 16, following the worldwide online launch on Disney.com.

"High School Musical is a worldwide phenomenon and as such, it is important to pursue a nearly simultaneous launch of the first look to fans everywhere," said Mark Zoradi, president, Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group.

The high-energy trailer will reach core fans in locales around the globe, including the Philippines, U.S., Canada, Japan, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, Southeast Asia, India, Taiwan, Brazil and Mexico, among others. The trailer features footage from the highly anticipated movie, which is slated for release this coming October.

Disney's High School Musical phenomenon leaps onto the big screen in the third installment, in which the energetic high school students (played by Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, and Monique Coleman), hit senior year. Amidst a basketball championship, prom night, and a big spring musical featuring all of the Wildcats, Troy (Zac) and Gabriella (Vanessa) vow to make every moment last as their lifelong college dreams put the future of their relationship in question. A crew of sophomore Wildcats (Matt Prokop, Justin Martin, Jemma McKenzie-Brown), join in the fun as the film's incredible new music and exciting dance numbers take maximum advantage of the big screen.
